Welcome to the Home of the John Liming Society!
The John Liming Society is a Family Association named after the immigrant John Liming (1647-1697). He arrived to the colonies from England between 1670-1675. The first record of John Liming is in the Whorekill District of the Delaware frontier that was still part of the New York Colony. He later moved to Middletown, Monmouth County, New Jersey about 1680. Though he had three known sons, all descendants are through his two oldest sons John and William Liming.
Membership in the John Liming Society is open to direct descendants and people who have the family in their tree as a side branch. In order to keep spammers out of the site, we do ask for information on how you connect to the family in the registration process.
Our main focus is new research and we have completed several projects already. You can find the Research Reports under the Store Tab above. We do charge $10 for each report to help pay for the professional genealogists who do our research.
