Welcome to the Home of the John Liming Society!
The John Liming Society is a Family Association named after the immigrant John Liming (1647-1697). He arrived to the colonies from England in 1675. The first record of John Liming is in the Whorekill District of the Delaware frontier that was still part of the New York Colony. He later moved to Middletown, Monmouth County, New Jersey about 1680. Though he had three known sons, all descendants are through his two oldest sons John and William Liming. For more information on the purpose and organization of the Society please go to the ABOUT page.
Membership in the John Liming Society is open to direct descendants and people who have the family in their tree as a side branch. In order to keep spammers out of the site, we do ask for information on how you connect to the family in the registration process. We ask if you are a direct descendant to invite all of your interested family members to register. Once registered, we hope that you will share your direct tree research with us, by sending in your direct lineage, GED file or genealogy website URL's. See the TREE page for instructions.
To see who has been entered into the Master Tree, go to the ANNOUNCEMENTS page to see the data entry logs. Access to the Master Tree is being worked on and will be available soon.
