I found an orphan’s court document from Phelps County Missouri which establishes a Mr. A.C. Lemming as the guardian for Charles, Delmar, and Alta Paul(children of James Paul and Caroline Leming). I have found an Austin C. Leming living in Newburg Missouri at the same time as my 2nd great-grandmother Caroline Leming(B1839). I can only assume he is Carolines brother or cousin, but I can’t make the connection. According to census records this Astin character lived in Foster, Bracken, KY in the home of a Marshall Taylor; while my GGGrandmother Caroline Leming also lived in Foster, Bracken, KY in 1860. does anyone know who Austin C. Leming is? He was born Indiana in 1833 according to 1900 census
